Our
Story

Dr. Isaac Weinberg
Isaac began his work as an educator in 2016 as a private tutor in the North Suburbs of Chicago. He taught math and science to students in 6th-12th grade. It was here that he began to develop his passion for education, and realized the tremendous positive impact that one-on-one attention can generate for young scholars.
In 2018 Isaac began his Ph.D. in Biology at Tufts University. In this role he served as an instructor for both basic and advanced biology courses, where he developed lectures and exams, and served as a mentor to undergraduate students. Simultaneously, he worked as a writing consultant, helping dozens of undergraduate and graduate students with English reports, scholarship applications, personal statements, and scientific papers. In both of these roles, he focused heavily on building rapport with his students, and finding the learning strategies that worked best for each individual scholar. In these roles, he consistently ranked in the top percentile on student satisfaction reports.
After receiving his Ph.D., Isaac moved to Ardmore PA with his wife, who was beginning a Professor Position at Villanova University. It was then that he decided to begin Apis Academic, a tutoring service serving the Main Line and Beyond!
